The Champalimaud Foundation is a private, non-profit organisation dedicated to research excellence in biomedical science. Completed in 2010, the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown (CCU) is a state-of-the-art centre for basic and translational research, diagnosis and treatment of diseases from neurological disorders to cancer. Housing the Champalimaud Clinical Centre (CCC) and the Champalimaud Research (CF Research), with its two programmes – the internationally recognised Champalimaud Neuroscience Programme (CNP) and the new and expanding Biology of Systems and Metastasis (BSM), CF provides a unique environment for cutting-edge research designed to reveal new knowledge and develop scientific solutions to medical problems.
Role
The Champalimaud Foundation will lead WP2 (Fundamentals of Interactive Algebraic Machine Learning) and will be involved in different tasks in WP3 (AML Description language) to bring its expertise in Algebraic Machine Learning relevant to ALMA. Also, a use case will be provided (WP7).
